You don’t realize…

how often you pick up your toddler until you’re not supposed to do it.

I picked E. up three times today. No choice in the matter- I’m home alone with him. One of the lifts in particular was a bit awkward.

So now I’m sitting here with my feet up on the couch, cramping like crazy, and hoping I didn’t just screw everything up.

  1. I understand your concern, but I cramped like crazy with all of my pregnancies… especially the one that actually went to term! Try to breathe and relax. I’m sure you didn’t screw anything up. Hugs… it’s such a stressful time!

  2. I’m sure you didn’t, and in fact, I think the cramping sounds like a good sign, at least if my experience is any guide. I did quite a number on myself hefting watering cans around the garden (due to some numbskulled miscalculations of their weight) during the tww. Crampy and dizzy and altogether strange feeling.

    Thanks for the reassurance!
