*Looks oneself over*
No mood swings.
No hot flashes.
No raging hormones leading to emotional outbursts. (Ok, I did end up crying over the sink one morning but that was because I’d picked up my cat to try and keep her from puking on the carpet and she clawed the daylights out of my hand, so I was bleeding in the sink while sobbing [silently as I also lost my voice this weekend from the cold I had last week]…so I don’t think the Clomid can get blamed for that.)
Q. seems happy to be in the same room with me.
Feeling a bit woozy sometimes, but that’s about it.
This all seems to be going rather well thus far. Can anyone tell me- if the Clomid is going to make me crazy, when is it meant to start doing that? Do the side effects start while you’re taking the drug, or only after you’ve finished?
3 pills down. 4 to go.
Please listen to the drugs, ovaries. Please work.
Thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for the advice about the HSG. I really hope it happens fast. I did not see your clomid dosage so maybe you are on the lowest dosage so not seeing any side effects. Also they do extended cycles with clomid. Last cycle, I had to take it for 13 days (100mg/day) to ovulate. I usually start noticing the side effects from the 3rd day onwards after starting the pill. Good luck with the cycle.
Good luck with the clomid! I didn’t feel crazy with clomid, so I can’t really say when… but I was taking it at night and hear that you can avoid a lot of symptoms that way.
If you’re going to feel anything strange it usually happens quickly. Clomid was actually a bit of a “happy drug” for me but I know that some people had the opposite effect. Just enjoy not having crazy symptoms!
Ha! I’m not (too) crazy yet either! So far, I have just felt stoned, pretty much. And sadly enough I have kind of enjoyed it!
I read on StirrupQueens that the effects don’t subside immediately after your last pill– sometimes continue for a day or two. Sounds like the two of us are rather lucky though, that we’re not climbing the walls!
My last pill is tomorrow, then sex Wednesday night, then post-coital test Thursday at 11am. I’ll let you know what to anticipate as I’m coming off of it!
It sounds like you are doing great, my issues usually started about the 3rd day in and lasted at least a few days after I stopped.
We are all so different, so lucky for you, you might just be one of the lucky ones!
Fingers crossed for you, my dear.
*hugs*
